Tonight i drove to Bundaberg, stopping at Ray and Tracy’s in Gympie to light a big-ass fire
Man. The Ekka race day at Eagle Farm is crazy…it takes 40 minutes to line up for a drink and 20 minutes to get a hot dog, but it’s still fun
This is what a muscle car looked like in Australia in 1967, with its 289ci V8 and skinny chrome steel wheels. This car was the beginning of an era of overpowered beasts with crap brakes and bouncy, lurching suspension, ending with Holden putting huge V8s into little Toranas until the oil scare.
The car I took pictures of in my previous post was a 1954-57 Mercedes Benz 300SL, a pretty cool car. It has gullwing doors and was the first production car to use fuel injection! Awesome.
The Valiant Pacer is a dinosaur with a big-capacity low rev carby thumper motor still but looks and sounds [...]
I love old cars. I saw this awesome old mercedes benz 300 something on the way to the office today, and this valiant pacer full of girls in the mcdonalds drive thru on the weekend
As if computers aren’t soul-destroying enough, this is the guy I’ve gotta sit next to…
I finally did the bloody obvious and use vodafones automatic gprs, email and wap config tools. What a dummy
This video is apparently staged and wasn’t really put to air, but it’s still amusing. Watch Chris Taylor’s staged live TV stunt of breaking up with his girlfriend on the Australian morning show, Sunrise. I wish his message was for the show’s hosts, they’re horrible.
We decided that it’d be nice to have a TV in the kitchen so that we can watch Jamie Oliver, Yan Can Cook, The Iron Chef etc, and cook at the same time. You know, it’s cool to be able to follow along as they cook.
Can’t wait for those shows to come on now.
