On Saturday we went to Moore Park just north of Bundaberg, where there was a shindig with the sandology.com guy building this sand dragon, and tons of kites like this dinosaur…and Subaru-engined gyrocopters. This dog is called Chloe, her obesity amuses me.

This is what a muscle car looked like in Australia in 1967, with its 289ci V8 and skinny chrome steel wheels. This car was the beginning of an era of overpowered beasts with crap brakes and bouncy, lurching suspension, ending with Holden putting huge V8s into little Toranas until the oil scare.
