Heh, breaking clichÃ©s down to extract their literal meanings is one of my nerdier past-times. Here’s a random one: ‘pulling out all the stops’ was originally a reference to organists who, to test the pipes of an organ, would ‘pull out all the stops’. No doubt it made a hell of a noise.

My problem with the same symptoms (Failed to query…) was not solved by this solution. My reinstall version of Windows XP Professional with SP2 appeared to have a problem in the tcpip.sys (found in %WINDOWS%/System32/drivers and %WINDOWS%/System32/dllcache). I rebooted the defective machine in safe mode (without networking) and copied the tcpip.sys over the existing two. After another (normal) reboot my system was working again.

nice mate! good to see the new meta desc tag indexed too! I enjoyed the read and big wrap on hacking the code yourself (you know how much I dont like code). I found a plugin about 2 days ago for SEO and wordpress called “All in One SEO” - gives you greater control over Title tags, Meta desc and keyword, etc - worth a look if you are interested.

Now for me to rank number 1 on “scruffy little fella”

Yeah it doesn’t matter that Brisbane isn’t a person or an animal, it can still own in the sense that the idiot belongs to Brisbane. So the sentence is “Brisbane’s biggest idiot.”
